Panic Bomber

Bomberman: Panic Bomber is a falling blocks puzzle game set in the Bomberman universe. The objective is to outlast your opponent by filling their playfield with blocks. This is achieved by creating chains of exploding bombs, which send clutter to the opponent's side that they must then clear.

Bombs are generated by making chains of three matching blocks disappear. These bombs can only be detonated by an explosion from a lit bomb that periodically falls from the top of the screen. Successfully causing significant damage can lead to earning a giant bomb, which clears a substantial portion of debris from the field and complicates the opponent's efforts.

The game features a story mode where Bomberman embarks on a quest to find the Golden Bomber statue. Throughout his journey, he encounters a variety of quirky characters, such as Drifty the balloon and Cecil the tiger. Player progress is saved using a password system.
