Pole Position II

Pole Position II is an arcade racing game and the sequel to Pole Position. Players can choose from four tracks: Fuji Speedway, Test Track (modeled after Indianapolis Motor Speedway), Seaside (resembling the 1982 US Grand Prix West), and Suzuka Circuit. The game features improved graphics, including car explosions with debris, new billboards, and an updated opening theme song. The gameplay focuses on racing against time while avoiding other cars and obstacles. The game introduces slight differences in the timer display between the Japanese ("TIME") and American ("UNIT") versions.
