Upon launching the game, players are presented with a menu offering the choice between Practice Mode and a proper mission. In Practice Mode, players can select between two training scenarios: dogfight training or U-boat/train bombing. In this mode, enemy aggression is reduced, allowing for a more relaxed experience. There are five different view options to choose from—cockpit, left and right wings, navigational map, and bomb bay—accessible via the keyboard or by double-tapping the fire button and moving the joystick in the desired direction. In Mission Mode, players control a twin-engine RAF Mosquito, which is already airborne, so no takeoff is required. Before starting a mission, players select the supplies they want to bring, but carrying more equipment reduces the plane''s maximum speed. At the end of a mission, landing is not necessary, and points are awarded based on the number of enemies shot down, as well as the amount of unused fuel, bombs, and missiles. After completing missions, players can opt to combine two or more completed missions into a "mashup," creating a unique blend of challenges.
