Ms. Pac-Man
Atari 7800, 1987
Ms. Pac-Man follows a similar gameplay structure to the classic Pac-Man. The player controls Ms. Pac-Man as she navigates a maze, eating pellets while avoiding four colorful ghosts. Contact with a ghost results in losing a life. Like in Pac-Man, there are energizers (or "power pellets") that temporarily turn the ghosts blue, making them vulnerable and allowing Ms. Pac-Man to eat them for extra points.
Bonus fruits appear periodically, offering additional points when eaten. As the game progresses through levels, the speed of the ghosts increases, and the duration of the energizer''s effect decreases. After a certain number of rounds, the ghosts become invulnerable again, adding a layer of challenge as the player tries to clear the maze and survive longer. The game offers a simple yet addictive challenge that increases in difficulty as the rounds advance.
